Ooops

The problem with the sound is still happening. The system sound would loop every time I boot my system. Will see what I can do about it. Will keep you posted. Btw if you know what to do message me. My system is MSI (Micro-Star Incorporated) Megabook VR320-K2 Laptop.

After logging in, mute the sound, then restart. After restart, unmute. Repeat as necessary.

This is just a workaround. The noisy problem remains. Funny thing is, I also have Ubuntu 7.10 installed on MSI VR320 K2, though on a dual-boot configuration.

Aside from that, I cannot enable Compiz.
