Got my WiLAN working!

Finally after weeks of trying to figure out what went wrong... I got my WiLAN working at home! Hehehe! Just had to install the latest firmware for my router. My friend adviced me to do this before but I didn't! Makulit kasi ako!

Well here's what I did:

1. Reinstalled Ubuntu
2. Downloaded the firmware update for my Linksys router at www.linksys.com/sg
3. Setup WEP

Reinstalled Feisty

I recently removed Linux Mint 4. Was thinking of installing Ubuntu Gutsy again but decided to stick with the more stable Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. Been busy lately and haven't updated this blog.

Anyway since I reinstalled the older Ubuntu version, I never had any sound issue unlike in Linux Mint 4 and Gutsy. The next Ubuntu LTS is coming out really soon but I don't think I will jump in just yet. I might wait for reviews and read the forums for any possible bugs before upgrading. :)

For now I'm happy and I'm loving my Ubuntu!
